Notebooks for iPhone Answers

Can I import documents (WORD, PDF, etc...) into notebooks with IPAD2?

I have IPAD2 and am trying to understand if it is possible to import documents into notebooks so I can make handwritten notes and/comments. I installed dropbox with hopes to assist me in task noted above. I also attempted to read some of previous asked questions but unfortunately could not find clear solution. Any guidance you could provide would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hi,

there is a YES and a NO to your question.

Yes, Notebooks allows you to import and view all those different types of documents; when you use Dropbox, the easiest way is to set up DB sync in Notebooks and put the documents you want to have in NB into the "Notebooks" folder on your DB. Please note, NB does to sync automatically by default, so you man have to trigger that from a book's context menu

No, you cannot edit/modify/annotate these documents. We do have that on our todo list, but at the moment we are busy implementing other (even more requested) features.

I hope this helps.
Best,
Alfons
