How about support for spideroak (https://spideroak.com/)? I see they also have a remote api and since their mission is to provide secure storage for files it would solve the "encrypted notes" problem. :)

Thanks for this suggestion. We will take a look into this and see if an integration is possible and how much effort this would be.

In the meantime, encryption might be solved with other cloud storage services, too, provided you trust in their security ;-)
