Palm memos import - memos show up as one huge memo

No matter what I do according to your help page "Import your Palm Memos into Notebooks", all the memos show up as one huge memo. On Mac Pro/10.5.8
If Notebooks displays your imported file with the icon of a text note, then there might be a hidden ".txt" extension.
To remove it in Finder on your Mac, open the file's Info (cmd-I) and check the "Name & Extension" field. If you find the ".txt" extension, please delete that and retry to import.
If that does not help, please report back here.
