Notebooks for iPhone Answers

There is no "read only" option in the info panel

This is weird. I want to edit my notes and can't. Even we I very precisely try to hit the pen icon, I get a "new note!"

Help

I just realized that the note was saved as a web page & that's why I can't unclick the locked pencil. However, I still don't see Read Only & I assume it's because it's a saved webpage. Will there ever be the option to edit a saved webpage? I love the simplicity of saving all my notes directly from my browser rather than copying & pasting.

Hi,

you are correct, R/O is available only for editable notes; currently, these are plain text and Markdown documents.

Saved websites are so called webarchives, and the iOS currently has not support for editing those, but as soon as we see a way to make them editable we will immediately do so ;-)

Best,
Alfons
