When I open some PDFs they are really hard to read as they have lines through them.

Some PDFs have lines through them, these are ones that have embedded pictures etc. Other iOS PDF readers do not show the PDF with the lines. I am thinking it might be the conversion process.

Hi Jerard,

the issue you describe is none that we are aware of. In fact, Notebooks currently displays PDFs using the methods provided by the iOS, so we do not do any conversion. Would you mind sending us a screenshot or a PDF that shows these lines? Our address is notebooksapp@me.com
