Is there a way of adding a checkbox to a note without using the task list setting?

I have been using notebook for taking meeting notes. I would like to add a checkbox to one line - not the entire document. Is there a way of doing that?

No, unfortunately there is not. - We try to keep notes in a format that can easily be reused on any computer, and adding a checkbox as you suggest would work against it.

Of course, you are free to use characters like these in your text (but I think this is nor really what you are looking for...)
