Notebooks for iPhone Answers

Notebooks on the MAC

tarik2nu, May 18, 2011 22:54

Okay, I understand iPad Notebooks, iPod Notebooks but how would I sync that, and with what, on my MAC?
I don't need anything fancy, I don't need pictures, etc. I just want to be able to write in a journal, on my iPad or iPod or iPhone and/or my iMAC or MAC Book and sync it all together. Can I do that with your programs?
Thank you in advance for any information you provide.

Hi,

you can use any of Notebooks' sync options (Dropbox or WebDAV, for example) to sync the contents of Notebooks to a web based service or to your computer directly (with Dropbox). On your computer, use any text editor you like (on a Mac, you could use TextEdit or TextWrangler, on a PC use WordPad or Notepad++, just to name a few). The changes you make form your computer will then find their way back into Notebooks the next time you sync.

Apart form that, we are currently working on desktop versions of Notebooks, which will provide a better integration (and a homogenous interface).

You find more about the sync options in the handbook, which is available at
