Notebooks for iPhone Answers

Any plans to add annotation, bookmarks, navigation features for PDF files?

Are you considering adding annotations, bookmarks, and navigation features for PDF files?

If not, could you consider adding Appigo ToDo task linking type functionality to GoodReader or ReadleDocs. I have to review a lot of PDF documents that I need to link them to tasks so that I can set due dates. Your product is great letting me import them, but it would be better if I could make the PDF docs a task with a due date and annotate them, then send them by email (I know you can already do the email part)

Hi,

yes, we are planning (and currently working) on all these PDF enhancements; they are not straight forward, so it will take us a bit ...

In the meantime, you can link to documents in GoodReader (I do not know about ReaddleDocs) by copying a link in GR (Manage FIles > Link) and pasting it as a new note or into an existing note in Notebooks. Tapping that link in NB will then automatically open the referenced document in GR.

Hi

I've just purchased NB for both iPhone and iPad, and must say that NB appears to be the most feature-rich product in its class. However, the absence of the features described does make it a little clunky to use. The immediate feature I'm looking for is a bookmark, which I wouldn't have thought too difficult a task to deliver.

The response to the original request was May 2011. We're now in March 2012. Is there any news on progress?
