Security code entry locks app.

This just started happening. I upgraded to the latest version for my touch 2g and it still happens.

Specifically, I have protected notebooks. When I type in the code it displays "Accepted" and nothing happens. The only way out is to close the app. Until 3 days ago, the last digit of the code did not fill the little box and the protected notebooks opened normally. Suddenly this strange behavior.

I tried changing the code, but it did not change this behavior. I tried rebooting the Touch but it didn't fix it.

What must I do?

Hello Rich,

do you use Notebooks with orientation locked to landscape? If you have, does unlocking orientation restore normal operation?
Do you remember if you added or changed anything specifically before this issue started to show?

Alphonse,
I do keep it locked on landscape. I don't remember if I tried unlocking it. What I finally did to fix it was to switch of security in preferences, close it down and then switch it on again. Now it is operating normally.

I don't know of anything I did that was unusual that might have caused the problem.
