Having issues with Apr 14th iPad release 2.1.3

I updated and now when I open the application the menu system does not show up and I do not see any of my notes.
This release does not contain any critical changes that would explain why notes are not displayed.
Have you tried to terminate and restart Notebooks, or to power down and restart the iPad?
