Would you mind activating Notebooks' logging and sending me the result? Here is what you would do:
- at the top level of Notebooks, create a new note with the title "Notebooks Log"
- restart Notebooks
- sync.
Notebooks will now collect status information in this log file. When finished (after you received the error message), please send the contents of "Notebooks Log" to notebooksapp@me.com
Thank you!
I fixed it. But I have problems with æ, ø and å. Dropbox shows strange letters.
How is it if:
I have synced to dropbox, and change something in one of the notes in notebooks. Will notebook update dropbox, or will it be the other way around?
I also want to browse through my text notes in dropbox, but It seems like I have to return to menue to pick a new note. Is it this correct?
Great to hear that you have fixed the error.
When you make changes in Notebooks, the next sync will transfer the changes to Dropbox, and if you make changes on Dropbox, the next sync will import them into Notebooks. So it is both ways.
Your options in Notebooks always remain the same, no matter whether you sync your documents with DB or any other service. So you can always browse/swipe through your notes in Notebooks. (I hope this answers your question...)
Regarding the strange characters, please take a look at this:

Thanks. Yes I can swipe in Notebooks, but not in dropbox. I always have to go back to the root menue of the folder.
One of my maps in Notebooks contains videos. And, one day, I have to delete some of them, but I want to keep them somewhere. If I delete them in NB, the next sync will erase them from DB. Is it a way to select export a folder to DB, and not sync?
Sorry for my late reply!
Currently there is no option to export only, although we have that on our todo list.
To "save" a document in Dropbox you should move to a location outside the Notebooks folder. If you accidentally deleted a document or folder from DB, you have the option to restore it through DB's website (show deleted files -> restore).
