Is there a word count function in Notebooks for iPad?

I need to have an auto date and word count function for my Artist's Way "Morning Pages" journal. Does Notebooks have word count? It looks great otherwise. I can see that I can use it for many other uses too.

Hi Elena,

yes, Notebooks does have a word count function. By default, it counts the characters as you type, but in Notebooks' settings you can switch that to word count. - Also, if you select a portion of text in a note, Notebooks will simultaneously show you how many words (or characters) you have selected.
