How to get a document or video into a note

I have tried the copy link for a PDF or video that I have in Notebooks to get it into a note but it does nothing but add text, it is not clickable.

I have no trouble getting the file into Notebooks but can't figure out how to get it into the note even after moving it to the proper book.

Hi,

in a plain text note, links by default are not clickable. However, in Notebooks' settings you can define, which types of texts should be shown as clickable links (URLs, numbers, addresses etc.). If you activate the links for URLs, then Notebooks' internal links will work, too.
