The new version is not working properly on my iPad. When I try to bold text I get **** when I underline I get
When I enter text and then remover the keyboard it goes to a preview window and displays the old text. I have to un-delete to show the text that I have typed.

the characters that are added to **bold** and underlined are OK, this is how Markdown works. However, as soon as you select any of the formatting keys, the text should automatically be converted to HTML when you hide the keyboard (see http://www.notebooksapp.com/Notebooks_for_iPhone_-_Help_-_Format_Documents.html )
To better understand what exactly is happening, would you mind sending us a few screeshots to notebooksapp@me.com?
