Files rename themselves on Notebooks for iPad only

Hi! I'm having a weird issue with Notebooks for iPad. I sync chapters of my book from Scrivener to Notebooks, then edit them individually in Notebooks for iPhone and iPad. Scrivener's syncing exports specifically named files (eg. chapter one might be exported as "01 Chapterone -56-" so Scrivener can keep track of the chapter file once it's synced back to my Mac. Trouble is, these files randomly rename themselves as the first line in my chapter in Notebooks, but *only* in the iPad version. It happens several times a week, forcing me to rename the file back to the name Scrivener prefers before I can safely resync my chapters. I don't know what I do to trigger this behavior––it seems to happen randomly. Great app otherwise! Thanks for any help.

Hello Adam,

thank you for reporting this. - What you describe of course is not intended, and it happens when you bring Notebooks to the foreground (by switching from another app) and then start typing.

We have already fixed this for the upcoming version, which is currently in review at Apple.

In the meantime, please avoid typing immediately after switching to Notebooks, and instead move to a different note and then back to the one you are about to edit. - This is a bit bothersome, but will be fixed in a couple of days.

We are sorry for any inconvenience!

Kind regards,
Alfons
