I have I phone note books,i now have iPad and after syc iPads view of the synced notebook is distorted

This might be a side-effect of iOS4 and multitasking. If you try to terminate Notebooks (from the multitasking bar) and restart, the display should be fine again.
We are currently finalizing a new update, which will take care of this issue, too.
