PDF size limit?

I have some large PDFs that I'd like to use in Notebooks (iPad version). However, every time I open one, the app crashes. Is there a size limit for Notebooks? If so, what is it?

this is a question that cannot be answered with one number, unfortunately. The limit for PDFs is not so much their size, it is much rather their complexity; a one page PDF with heavy graphics might cause a crash, but a 500 pages PDF with mostly text will not do any harm. Notebooks currently uses the iOS's built in PDF handling routines, so if Notebooks crashes, Safari, Mail and most other apps will crash, too. - We do plan to improve Notebooks' PDF capabilities, though.
