Notebooks for iPhone Answers

Why doesn't a file Added via iTunes show in Notebooks on iPad?

I have iTunes File Sharing turned on in Settings. A file Added from my MacBook shows in the menu window in iTunes, but it does not appear in Notebooks on my iPad. (I have tried this several times and with more than one file.)
On the main page of Notebooks the menu produced by the + makes no mention of iTunes.
I have iOS3.2.2 and Notebooks for iPad 2.0.1

PS. I forgot to say that I think Notebooks is a great program, and I have recently used it with great success for transcribing large numbers of documents in the British Library.

Thank you for your feedback!

You just overlooked a tiny step: take a look at the "Context Menu" of the top level book. When documents have been imported through iTunes, this menu shows the option "Import from iTunes", which moves the documents into Notebooks visible hierarchy.

We understand that this additional step is not too intuitive, so will think about an alternative ...

Best,
Alfons

Thanks Alfons. All is now clear and working.

I find that a .doc file imported to Notebooks cannot be edited, only viewed. Is this correct?
