Notebooks for iPhone Answers

Can I access and edit Notebook offline?

Ladies and Gentlemen,

I am looking for an application somewhat similar to my Memo-funtion on my Palm TX: Accessing, writing and editing notes offline, thus having them accessable regardless of where I am, with and without internet access; then syncronize when internet is available. I have tried several note programs on my iPhone and thus far all can be used only when I'm in range of internet or mobile phone connection. Yesterday I was in the lowest floor of a museum in Berlin, no phone or internet service down there, but I wanted to look up something about a certain artist I had deposited in one of my notes and add another line or two, and couldn't open them. Aside from that, if only mobile phone service is available, it takes up to two minutes to access my notes, and that is not what I need.

Does your application offer this feature? If so, I'll buy it in a minute.

Thank you in advance for your trouble.

Sincerely,
Matthew Sampson

Hi Matthew,

I have good news for your: Notebooks stores all its documents offline on the iPhone/iPad and has been designed to have all your documents available wherever you are and whenever you need them. With Notebooks, you can access that artist's info without internet connection.

An internet connection is necessary only when you want to sync its contents with a service like Dropbox of a WebDAV server.

I hope this helps.
Best,
Alfons
