Making note word count in Notebooks visible as you type
Thank you for creating Notebooks. It's most useful app I've seen. But there's something that would make it even better, especially now that it's NaNoWriMo.org time: having the word count visible as you type each note.
Currently, you can only see the word count on the iPhone version of Notebooks by looking at file information of each note. As NaNoWriMo is based on word count, it would be nice to actually see your word count at the top or bottom of the screen while writing a note, so you could watch it increasing as you typed and be aware of when you'd reached the 1667 daily word count quota of NaNoWriMo. It would also be nice for Notebooks to calculate the total word count of each Book, so you'd be able to work on multiple novels at once on different notes in the same book, but still be aware of your total word count.
A visible word count would not just be helpful for NaNoWriMo. Most university papers, journalistic articles etc have a strict word count requirement. Making the word count visible would greatly improve the value of the Notebooks app as a tool for writers.
Thank you again for creating Notebooks, and I hope you can use this idea.
Regards,
Charl
