Cannot get Dropbox to initialize in iPad version

When I go to settings and log into my Dropbox account, the "Done" button NEVER ungreys itself. (This includes waiting more than 30 minutes.) If I hit cancel and then check a book in Notebooks, there is NO option to sync to Dropbox. I bought this app today SOLELY because of my interest in using it with Dropbox, so I am pretty frustrated that this does not work. (PS, I took the same credentials and successfully logged into Dropbox.com with no problem.)

It may be that the DONE button does not get "active", we will take a look into this. What you could do is toggle the "Sync System Files" switch on and off, this will make the Done button active.

The important thing is that you see a check mark next to "Log in to Dropbox" after successfully logging in to Dropbox. So, log in to Dropbox, then toggle the switch or simply tap "Cancel", and reopen the Dropbox Settings; if you see the checkmark then the login was successful.

With the switch "Dropbox Sync" turned on in Notebooks' settings you will see the "Sync - Dropbox" option in the context menu of all books in Notebooks.

I hope this helps.

Thanks for the speedy reply. Dropbox does show as checked. I tried the toggle and that did cause the Done button to become active. However, I still cannot see any share capability for the books in Notebooks. That is, if I press the blue arrow for a book, I see a number of options for that book (Font, colors, etc), but nothing for sharing.
Do I need to dos something else?

OK, here's a big Doh. It wasn't clear to me what the "contextual menu" was (that is, what menu was being referred to... It does NOT mean what you see at the blue arrow... it is located in the top center (which will say "Notebooks", "Help", "My notebook" or whatever, depending on where one is. When I used the CORRECT option, I saw "Sync to Dropbox", "Import from iTunes", etc etc. Sharing is OK, I was just having a problem in understanding.

wow! I can't believe I kept at that! degraham, you are so right, I was stuck looking all over what I would call the "context menu" (menu item with the arrow/caret). I randomly touched the label of a notebook, I saw all those options appear, including sync to Dropbox).

Alfons, I apologize if it is just me, but the instructions in help and as stated above don't seem to really clarify it for folks not intimately familiar with your app design - we may not have read the help manual so carefully to understand what is meant by "context menu." Step by step instructions not dependent upon prior knowledge would have saved me hours.

Also, from my repeated web searches on this (how to sync Notebooks with Dropbox), I think some people may have concluded it is not possible. Great feature, so happy fohnd a way to sync! Love the straight forward design! I appreciate that you haven't taken up a lot of space trying to make Notebooks look like spiral binders, notecards, and post-its! Thanks.
