Bug with dropbox sync
Tried to sync with dropbox this morning but dropbox was down. As a result I lost new notes that had not already synced.
Any ideas on if I can get the notes back? I've tried everything on my iPad but they appear to be lost.

We are experiencing a few strange effects with Dropbox which we are trying to get hold of. The bug you describe is one of them ...
While the loss of data in Notebook is always a bad thing, the good news in this case is that all you data are still intact on Dropbox. Let me explain what happened:
Notebooks asked Dropbox for its contents; obviously, Dropbox reported nothing back, which usually means "there is no contents in the Notebooks folder on Dropbox". With "Sync Moves and Deletes" turned on, Notebooks assumes that you have deleted this contents on Dropbox and does the same ...
To get the data back, please make sure that you have a reliable connection to Dropbox and sync again. This will import everything back into Notebooks.
We have sent a minor update to Apple a few days ago, and this update several more security checks to make sure that this type of problem is detected before anything is deleted in Notebooks.
