Syncing Bug?

Selecting "Sync - MobileMe" action from the Notebooks drop-down crashes the app. On both - iPhone, and iPad. The app closes and the user is brought back to the springboard.

Syncing of individual books from within the books themselves works fine. But, syncing all books - which is implied by the presence of the sync option when viewing the list of books - crashes the app.

This is a major issue for me. As I could update several books during a given session. And would like to sync once. And not on every book.

Hi,

the reason probably is that you have not defined a start directory in Notebooks' WebDAV settings. In this case, Notebooks tries to sync the whole contents of your iDisk, which usually is too much to handle.

I would recommend to create a start directory (Documents/Notebooks, for example) and set this in the WebDAV settings. With this change, synchronization should run without any issues.

The next version of Notebooks will take care of this automatically.
