iPod version stuck trying to sync to wrong server

I accidentally touched the wrong button and Notebooks on my iPod Touch is trying to sync with a invalid SyncDocs server. The app just sits there, with the error message, and I cannot get to the OK button to cancel.

What can I do to force the app to quit trying the sync?

Just hit the iPod's Home button or Power switch to force quite Notebooks.
