Notebooks for iPhone Answers

copying images/zoom

I am using Notebooks to replace several older apps which no longer work in iOS4. A couple of questions:

1. Using Notebooks as a scrapbook. I paste a photo or text in and create a new item. How can I copy it back again to the pasteboard? Could you add a "copy" choice to the menu which includes "duplicate, "copy link," etc.

2. The zooming feature is very helpful. However it doesn't seem to wrok like the zoom in Safari, Maps, or Mail. It takes many, many pinches to enlarge or reduce magnification.

Thanks.

Hello Mark,

great to hear that you use Notebooks to replace other apps :-)

1) We know about the absence of the "Copy" option, adding it to the action menu probably would be the simplest method. - What we have already implemented for the next release is an action "Add to Album", which copies an image to the iPhone's album for further use.

2) One trick is to double-tap a photo, which enlarges it to 100% or, if magnified, shrinks it to screen size. We will experiment with the zoom factor a bit, though

Best,
Alfons
