is it possible to edit Word Docs in Notebooks ?

Would import Word or Pages documents into Notebooks and would like to know if I can then edit them within the Notebooks App.
Add text for example.

Hello Bry,

while you can view both document formats without any problems, editing is not supported. We will probably wait for a couple more OS updated until the iPhone/iPad has all the capabilities that would make that possible without investing a huge amount of work ...

I understand that it would be a lot of effort, bit I would definitely appreciate being able to modify Word documents in Notebooks. So there's my vote!
Thanks,

It would be really, really great if we could edit word documents which are opened by the notebooks app! The sooner, the better. I would be very happy!
Thanks.

Me too -- I bought Notebooks when I read that it could "import" Pages docs. I'm more than a bit disappointed that it doesn't import them in any actually editable form.

At least it'd be nice if you pointed this out in your App Store listing.

I urgently needed to transfer a presentation previously sent from Word on my laptop so I could use on iPad. When I looked up Notebooks in Apps market, it sounded able to do what I needed. Yes, I copied the document from my Yahoo.mail and pasted to Notebooks. I was able to edit. I even added a picture and it was all good. Since I didn't need the picture, I was also able to delete. I believe anything that can copy and paste will allow editing. Hope this helps.
