Cannot display document, frame load interrupted

I am sure this phrase must be interesting, but not to me, especially when I get it with EVERY document imported. Surely it's meant to do more than that?

This message typically pops up when neither Notebooks nor the iOS know how to open a document.
What kind of documents are you importing? Do they have valid file extensions?
