How do we embed photos in notes?

ronsheely, October 29, 2011 15:32

The user manual mentions that this can be done, but I have not been able to locate the exact details. I added photos as notes, and I can make copies of the URLs of them. What is the exact syntax for embedding photos? I currently use Trunk Notes, which uses the same Markdown that Notebooks claims to use. I would think the markdown syntax would be the same or similar. I have tried a number of Markdown {{image }} permutations without success.

Dear Ron,

while you can of course manually add the Markdown tags to a note in Notebooks, we actually have a shortcut for that: in the row of extra keyboard keys you find an "insert" button that allows you to select or take a photo, which will then appear at the current cursor position.

Regarding that "insert" button: if you are on an iPad, you see a dedicated "Image" button, but on an iPhone or iPod touch, we have a more general insert button (arrow down), which brings up a menu of options when tapped.

I hope that helps.
Best,
Alfons
